Have you ever woken up to a dream; a dream that casts you into a parallel universe? An alternate reality? Things which you didn't even knew existed were brought to center stage. A face begins to embed and piece by piece its stored into your very conscious. All things seem to clear away and you finally feel at harbor, a harbor of emotions that you spent wandering aimlessly for is found.
The ships at bay...
Gradual is the process, eventually you come up with a language only you could speak, its for none but you to speak.
Colors are ever more vivid now that you have your rose-tinted glasses on!
You begin to slip away, not realizing that its after all but just a mere dream.
Your ability to revive is sporadic at best, but you don't seem to care, your too busy decrypting her every move. Her consumatic ways have you spell-bound.
Your ever diminishing conscious tells you to snap out of it, until eventually you have it dozed off or at times fooled into believing and accepting the alternate reality.
It doesn't matter how polarized the situation is, even if its a one-way road your willingly driving on it, enjoying the view, not realizing the dead end ahead but than again you haven't perceived it that way. Its your kingdom of thoughts and you could have it anyway you want it to be..
But every once in a while in the thickening array of confusion transcends a savior with a simple yet effective tool, nipping your bubble. Your world seems to vanish before you could even react. The disappearance however is not of apocalyptic proportions, your just confused... more of jet-lag experience but here the difference is not of times zones but realities, of fact and fiction.
You let the facts sink in and absorb as much as you can, your mind failing to compute and comprehend....
Staggering from its slumber your conscious revives placing you yet again in the aimless ocean of life, without a rudder to steer or an oar to propel, you just let the waves of time splash on you at will... throwing you as it pleases until finally you succumb to your very existence in this vast expanse.
Sitting in your dingy wrecked boat like stardust in galaxy you cant help but ponder what if I hadn't woken up from that dream.....
well written!
